FOFS is proud to partner with the national public broadcaster, CBC. Due to COVID-19, the venue for the event has been moved online and the films will be available to everyone in Canada, coast to coast to coast, on the free CBC Gem streaming service August 21st - September 4th. Our Senior Programmer, Zac Goldkind, has curated a selection of 6 films that speak to the future of film in a unique way. Coupled with each film you will find our pre-recorded Filmmaker Q&A's, available to stream on FOFS' Facebook and Youtube pages. Our Q&A's will feature our directors discussing their process, as well as debate on the current climate of film festivals as many transition to the online sphere.
FOFS will present an online Industry Panel, with esteemed guests and moderator to be announced.
