Colleen Rush has been working in casting for over a decade. She is the Co-Casting Director at Larissa Mair Casting, where she has proudly collaborated with Larissa for many years. In 2024, Colleen launched her own company, Colleen Rush Casting, while continuing to work closely with Larissa.

Together, Colleen and Larissa have been nominated for four Canadian Screen Awards and won their first in 2025 for Late Bloomer Season 1. Colleen has also had the privilege of casting for major networks and platforms including Netflix, Crave, CBC, Treehouse, Amazon, TVO, Hallmark, Lifetime, OWN, Prime Video, Hulu, and Paramount.

Colleen values the mentorship, collaboration, and she has built with Larissa, which continues to shape her work and inspire her as a casting director. She is passionate about discovering new talent and believes casting plays a vital role in elevating every project.
