Laurence Olivier is a Quebec filmmaker and author living in British Columbia. Her short film Phantom Poem received the Best experimental short prize from festival Vues dans la tête de (2023). Her novel Répertoire des villes disparues (2015) was adapted for the screen by Denis Côté (Ghost Town Anthology, 2019). Some of her poems, short stories and essays were awarded prizes in Canada and in France. Her writing and filmmaking’s process are led by conceptual experimentation.
