Maureen Grant, CCE (Moderator)
Maureen Grant, CCE is an award-winning picture editor whose work has screened internationally. She takes pride in being part of projects that are changing and challenging onscreen representation, and is a trusted collaborator to numerous directors. Her work was recognized with two Canadian Screen Awards in 2024, for the CBC/ Max series Sort Of and the CBC Gem series I Hate people, People Hate Me. Recent work includes the Tubi Original feature Sidelined, Accused (Fox Sony), and The Z-Suite (Tubi). She is the co-founder of Queer In Post, a community based organization for 2SLGBTQIA+, gender diverse, and non-binary creatives in film and television post production.

Sandy Pereira
Sandy Pereira is an award-winning editor known for her work on critically acclaimed films and television series, including, most recently, RT Thorne’s 40 Acres (TIFF TOP 10 2024), and José Lourenço’s Young Werther, both of which premiered at TIFF 2024. Films she has cut have screened at Cannes, TIFF and SXSW among other international film festivals. She has recently completed Alex Winter’s latest feature, Adulthood, which will have its premiere in 2025.

José Avelino Gilles Corbett Lourenço

Craig Scorgie
Craig Scorgie is an editor and visual effects artist based in Toronto. Craig is the editor of "Dada", premiering this year at the Future of Film Showcase. His feature film "In Flames" notably screened last year at Cannes Directors' Fortnight, TIFF, Red Sea (winner of Best Film prize), and became Pakistan's official entry to the Academy Awards in the Best International Film category. Prior to his editing career, Craig gained valuable experience as an assistant editor on acclaimed productions like HBO's "Big Little Lies", Apple TV's "The Morning Show", and Sarah Polley's Oscar-winning film "Women Talking".

Jordan Hayles
Hailing from Scarborough, Ontario, Jordan Hayles is an Award-winning Television & Film Editor who has taken pride in his attention to detail which has lead to his ascension in his career. His diverse array of work has spanned from Lifestyle, Documentary, Sports, and Narrative. He’s an advocate for diversity in the workplace, understanding that in his position there are not many who are fairly represented in the edit suite, and in the TV & Film industry as a whole. Part of his motivation is to give back to others, and hopefully break in more talent through the doors as his career advances.

Rémy Huberdeau
Rémy Huberdeau is a picture editor whose work has screened internationally. His feature work includes Unsolicited Pictures’ LAST EXMAS (2024) and Pageboy Productions’ BACKSPOT (2023). Recent television credits include GO TOGO, ESPÈCES D’ORDURES & PARIS PARIS for CBC, TV5 & UNIS TV.
An alumnus of the Canadian Film Centre’s Editors Lab, Rémy’s storytelling foundation was built in documentary film, arthouse cinema and social justice / community activism. He’s a graduate of Montreal’s Institut national de l’image et du son (L’inis), Documentary Director stream.
